Wake Forest University School of Medicine has licensed three soy-related technologies to Physicians Laboratories, Kernersville, NC, which will use the technologies to develop nutraceutical products. Clinical trials are planned for the near future investigating soy and memory loss. Other potential studies include the investigation of soy and endometriosis as well as the study of soy in combination with hormone replacement therapy. For the future, research into using soy as a potential treatment for breast cancer is also a possibility.
